In Course 100 agents will learn:
· To use the HP10BII calculator to calculate monthly payments, maximum loan amounts given an interest rate and a payment, annual interest paid on a given loan, remaining balance on a given loan.
· To use a one page format, called an APOD, for showing annual income and expense, and other pertinent information to begin a simple analysis of an investment property.
· To identify the five major benefits of real estate ownership income, tax advantage (including depreciation), equity build-up, appreciation, and leverage
· To understand and be able to calculate several popular methods of valuating property price per unit, price per square foot, gross rent multiplier, cap rate, and cash-on-cash return.
· To use this information learned on several specific property examples.
